This Privacy Policy explains how RiploTrac handles information in connection with its aquarium tracking application and this website. We aim to provide straightforward tools for aquarium recordkeeping.
Information you enter
You may enter aquarium names, test results, dosing information, maintenance records, livestock details and photos. RiploTrac is designed around on-device recordkeeping. Depending on the version and features you use, certain information may also be handled by operating-system services you enable, such as file selection, backup or sharing.
Advertising and device data
The Android app uses Google AdMob for advertising. Google and its advertising partners may collect or process device identifiers, IP addresses, advertising interaction information, diagnostic information and similar data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and related purposes, depending on your device settings and the applicable consent choices. Website information
Our hosting provider may automatically process standard server logs, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages and timestamps, for security, reliability and troubleshooting. This website does not require you to create an account.
Data retention and deletion
Aquarium information saved locally on your device is generally controlled through the app's editing and deletion features or by removing the app and its local data. Removing local information does not automatically delete any information retained independently by third-party services. For privacy inquiries or deletion requests that cannot be completed within the app, email support@riplotrac.com.
Security and international processing
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the service; no technology guarantees absolute security. Third-party providers may process information in other countries, where applicable laws may differ.
Children
RiploTrac is intended for a general aquarium-keeping audience, not specifically for children. We do not knowingly seek personal information directly from children through the website.
